What is life coaching?
Your heart and mind – your very being – are like a garden. Think of the plants in this garden as aspects of your personality, which come from seeds planted as a child: these can either be positive seeds which grow into flowers or negative seeds which grow into weeds.
Life coaching is not about attempting to uproot all of these weeds. It’s about finding a way to bring all of the plants into harmony – the good with the bad, joy with pain. My coaching style recognises that everything is connected, and that unpicking some of the reasons you might feel “stuck” will help you to move forward far more successfully than simply trying to address the feeling itself.
How can life coaching help you?
Many people struggle with continuous negative thoughts, worries or anxiety. They might have difficulties controlling behaviours they perceive as harmful, such as eating or drinking too much, or lack confidence in their relationships or careers. If this is you, life coaching and meditation may be able to help in some of the following ways:
- Learning how to build better, more meaningful relationships
- Learning how to be present and escape stress or anxiety
- Understanding the ego and how it can inflict pain and suffering on your day-to-day life
- Understanding how negative thoughts, periods of your life, and trauma from childhood or relationships are retained by the ego
- Learning how to be grateful, building positivity and joy in your life
- Learning how to be more confident, and to apply that confidence in ways that benefit you
How do the sessions work?
I provide an initial half-hour exploratory chat free of charge. We can use this to discover whether my life coaching and meditation services might be a suitable fit for you, or whether there are other practitioners or services I can refer you to which might be more helpful. I never take on a client unless I feel qualified to assist them.
